Oil Based was created by Stace Ridgeway. His father, who is an artist, taught Stace the importance of painting murals using oil based paint. He always emphasized the quality of oil based products and their ability to endure and withstand time.
“I started Oil Based because I wanted something to last just as long as the murals that my father began painting in 1977. The reason the murals are still around today and will continue to be, is becasue he used oil based paint. Oil last forever. Shouldn’t you?” Additionally, Stace acquired an unmatched ability to create artistic and stylish pieces that transcends among cultures. Stace felt wholeheartedly that people could believe and be confident in their own individual style. Being BASED is a lifestyle. It is a way of individuality and expression in being fashion forward and exemplifying uniqueness.
In early 2007, Stace laid down the plans to introduce high end luxury sportswear to the world. Oil Based covers a melodic line of clothing for men and women. Realizing the diversity in fashion, Oil Based offers a stylish selection of Tees, Polo Shirts, Jeans, Sweatshirts and Accessories. Working hard to ensure that BASED is never stagnant, Stace will complete the first line in Spring of 2009.
